The Authors

We would like to start by introducing ourselves, our interest in writing, and our muses.

Drea:

I’ve loved writing as far back as I can remember. Scrawling little stories in the margins of my notes in high school and college were the extent until diving headfirst into the roleplay world. Music speaks to me when I’m writing. Various genres allow me to slip into a character’s skin and write as them rather than myself. At times, the muse strikes through an action or an event that speaks to my soul.

Jennie Rose:

I’ve enjoyed writing since I was in high school and started writing stories in my english classes. I went into college though wanting to be a Marine Biologist and hated all my science classes immediately. I knew then that I needed to find a different major and after deciding that I liked law enforcement my uncle encouraged me to pick a general degree over criminal justice. That sent me down the path of becoming a Creative Writing major. I’ve taken so many classes that have allowed me to develop my passion. Then of course I met Drea and we hit it right off the bat and decided to take on the roleplay world on tumblr and create something entirely our own.

Since then we’ve taken things away from there and decided that our story deserves to read by as many people as possible. My muses tend to come from my own life experiences and just my creative imagination. I’m a huge movie and tv buff so I find inspiration in that as well. I love reading although nowadays I tend not to have a lot of spare time to do it but, it definitely introduced me into the supernatural world. Even things that I see in life give me inspiration for my writing.
